Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure across Finnum Enterprise platforms. The role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems that support internal and client-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Maintenance
Configure, install, monitor, and maintain servers, systems, and application services (Linux, Windows, PHP/MySQL stacks, cloud hosting).
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems.
Maintain uptime, performance, and security of core infrastructure.
Software & Platform Management
Deploy updates and patches across Finnum products (e.g., Finnum Pulse, Finnum Wallet, Tracepoint Avance).
Ensure version control and backup procedures are in place and functioning.
Coordinate with development teams for staging and production environments.
Security & Compliance
Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices, firewall configurations, and vulnerability scans.
Ensure data privacy, user authentication protocols, and compliance with relevant policies and standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, local ICT regulations).
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide tier-2/3 technical support to internal teams and external clients.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues efficiently.
Maintain logs and documentation for support and audit purposes.
Infrastructure Planning
Assist in planning for system growth, capacity upgrades, and business continuity.
Contribute to architectural decisions for system integrations and data migration.
Training & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, finance, support, and product managers.
Train relevant staff on system usage, protocols, and updates when needed.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years experience in systems administration, preferably within a fintech or enterprise IT environment.
Proficiency in:
Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments
Web servers (Apache, Nginx), PHP, MySQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
Experience with backup tools, security protocols, and system monitoring (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
